Starting the week of January 2 2015

Monday 6:30 -7:45 will be a combination of Gentle Hatha and Restorative. A great combination to be introduced to yoga.

Thursday 6:30 – 7:45 will be a combination of Yoga Fundamentals and Intro to Flow. You will be taught proper alignment of yoga poses with added movement. It will end with a Restorative pose and Savasana. A great class if you have little or no knowledge of Yoga Asana and no injuries.

I am eager to hear your comments or ideas. I am happy to add more classes as the studio grows. I have a circle of different styles of teachers who I can call on if needed.

Pricing:

Drop in fee $10 per class

5 session pass for $40

10 session pass for $80

 

Gentle Hatha

An non athletic style of practice suitable for those with injuries or mobility issues. A supportive and intelligent approach to gently opening the body, learning to breathe more effectively while relieving the mind of stress and tension.

Yoga Fundamentals

The perfect class to learn the basics of yoga asana. You will be taught proper pose alignments so that you can move and breathe mindfully.

 

Flow 

After the fundamentals are taught, you can now explore the vinyasa style practice where movement is linked with breath in a meditative manner. The benefits are endless and yours to discover.

 

Restorative

A gentle and nurturing practice for all levels that uses props such as a bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps to support the body into a deep relaxation. Postures are held for longer periods of time in order to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and to encourage the body and mind to experience a peaceful moment.
